What's been your most unexpectedly memorable travel experience and why did it stand out among all your adventures?

An unexpectedly memorable travel experience would be our trip to Bali,  We went there after I finished my Cancer treatments and it was the most blissful and serene place we have ever been too.  The country and people emit such a positive energy that since the moment we landed I fell so Zen’ed out.  We stayed in Ubud and then stayed a couple of days on a remote island called Gili Meno and it was amazing.  From the rice fields to a backdrop of a Volcano, it was one of the most spiritual travels of our life.

If you could magically transport someone reading this to one destination you've visited, which one would it be and why?

If I could magically transport someone to a destination, it would have to be the Maldives!  We went in November 2013 for our Honeymoon and it was the most surreal, can’t believe this place exists country we have ever been too.  It was like we in a desktop background the entire time.  From the people, the sandy beaches, to the clearest water I have ever seen, it’s a lifetime experience for sure.  Unfortunately, due to global warming, the islands are sinking so definitely a place we all need to visit before its gone.
Many travelers have a bucket list of destinations. What's one place you haven't been to yet that's at the very top of your list, and what draws you to it?

I can not wait to go to Mauritius.  It’s a small island off the coast of Africa and I have always wanted to go there. I was watching the Miss World pageant over 3 decades ago and the contestants went there and ever since then I can’t get it out of my head.  I love going to remote places and this is at the top of my list.
Traveling offers countless opportunities for breathtaking views. Can you describe a moment when you were truly awe-struck by the beauty of your surroundings?

A time that I was awe-stuck by the beauty of my surroundings would have to be in Morocco.  We did a hot air balloon ride and when we were above the clouds the beauty of the country was beyond.  I can still close my eyes and picture the mountain tops, the sunrise and just how beautiful nature can be.
Many travelers have a favorite travel accessory or gadget that they swear by. What's one item you never leave home without, and how has it enhanced your travel experiences?
My favorite travel accessory would have to be my portable, wireless charger!  I always need my electronics to be fully charged so I can capture everything and anything and this makes it possible.  The other thing I can not travel without is a good fictional novel!  Reading on a long flight is one my favorite things in the world!
